At a time when sustainability plays an ever larger part in business, natural materials are making a comeback and are chosen more often for new creations.
Wood is most commonly used for furniture, window displays and presentation elements, such as this inner wedge for a gift box.
Rattan can be used as a natural decoration in displays. Here the inspiration was the demijohn: this material is particularly suited to showcasing spirits.
Not every wood species is available in solid form, but they can be found as veneer.
Thin sheets of wood can be glued onto any kind of base and, with precise cuts of different species, used to create marquetry decoration, as here on a table.
Wood lends itself very well to pyrography: from a vector file, the logo is laser-engraved. Here it is done on the top of a stopper; thanks to the depth of our machine, we can also laser-engrave assembled wooden boxes directly.
Printing, as on this wooden base, is also possible with our UV printer. It allows complex decoration that would be far too painstaking with traditional painting and masking, and the process is much less costly.
Real stone is rarely used for window displays, but a very realistic imitation is possible by printing.
